So here’s the sitch’ cue Kim Possible theme music* I got a wedding inquiry a couple months ago from this amazing couple. We had never met before (as with most couples I shoot) although there was just something about Brittany. In her emails and throughout our chats I knew that we would be a great match for photography because we were already having so much fun talking!

When she said that they weren’t thinking of doing an engagement shoot, only because Jason hated photos and was a tad camera shy, I convinced them that that is the BEST reason to get engagement photos done! It really gives the camera shy folks a chance to meet the girl behind the camera, and to really get all those jitters out before the wedding day!
AND BOY did they get those jitters out! You would have never known that Jason was uncomfortable in front of the camera…. except for the times that he said it out loud…. . But they did so great! And these photos are some of my favourite ever!

They did so good putting up with all of my awkward sayings and prompts to make them giggle, and by far the most memorable line, by the ever hilarious Jason was “Baby, I’m gonna butter your breaaaddd” which promptly made everyone crack up and created some pretty amazing photos.
Thats what I love about what I do, its not about me telling you how to look and how to smile, its about creating an environment where you and your partner can feel comfortable enough to be fully in love right in front of me, and just letting me do my thing beyond that!

Just like I thought, we bonded quickly and we just had a blast wandering around Springbank Park in London, ON taking some photos and popping some champagne! I had never been to Springbank Park before, but i am super glad that Brittany suggested it! Its a massive park right on the Thames and it has a plethora of locations to take some breathtaking photos!
I am beyond happy that these two chose me to capture their love (its not hard to see, there is a LOT of love here!) and I absolutely cannot wait to be a part of their wedding day next year!
