Nothing about this weeks blog is going to be normal! The story of how we met these two and how this whole photoshoot came to be is a real story to remember and I am so excited to tell it!

It all started in June, when my husband and I were at our first stop on our Honeymoon at Mykonos, Greece. We went on at day cruise to the island of Delos, there were about 12 other people on the sailboat and we were all excited for our day of unlimited beers and wine (who wouldn’t be right?!)

One thing you should know about my husband is that he is constantly talking to people and making new friends, but today’s friends would be different. We sat next to Faith and Blake from the beginning and obviously Andrew started talking to them, finding out their life story.

Turns out they were from California and they had basically everything in common with us! We spent the whole day cruise together laughing and chatting and bonding over random things and of course drinking the ship dry of beer and wine!

But we still hadn’t had enough of each other! So we continued the night near our hotel and even met up the next day!

We were such fast friends it was crazy!

We had to leave Mykonos the next day, but swore we would keep in touch.
Here we are three months later, and Andrew and I hopped on a plane to go see them in California!

Crazy right?!  I know, how did we end up meeting people on the other side of the world that we connected with so well? I am so glad we met them and we had the most amazing time exploring their little town of Visalia and Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park and even seeing our very first American College Football game in Fresno!!

There is nothing more gorgeous in the world than a great landscape and this park did not disappoint. The trees are some of the biggest in the world and the mountains behind are just beautiful. I had such an amazing time during this trip and this photo shoot was just the cherry on top.
